By Fort Mifflin (other events)

Saturday, February 22 2020 6:00 PM 9:00 PM EDT

ABOUT ABOUT

Uniquely historic special event. Join our esteemed panel of historical interpreters and special guests to discuss the story of Ona Judge, a slave who fled President Washington’s service during his time in Philadelphia, and consider whether the President should have been rebuked, or even impeached, for violating Pennsylvania’s 1780 Gradual Abolition Act. This evening will honor the format established by Thomas Jefferson when he gathered together an intimate group of thought leaders to discuss a contemporary topic.
