The Great War Remembered: World War I Comes to Life

The Fort’s annual event devoted to the First World War - this year with a special focus on the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Verdun.  Meet the soldiers and civilians of the Great War!  Enjoy visiting with the armies of the Allied and Central powers, see if you can complete the Scavenger Hunt!  Guided tours at Noon and 2 PM.  Uniform and weapons demonstrations and extensive displays of vintage military gear throughout the day. See the Fort's casemates transformed into the French encampment at Verdun.
